For those visiting our wonderful city, you’re sure to find a picnic location that fits into your vacation itinerary. We host our picnics near various popular tourist destinations like the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, and Birch Aquarium.

Due to the State of California parks and rec, clients are now required to submit a permit for park use prior to booking a picnic with San Diego Picnics.
Without a permit, we will not be able to service a picnic at any public park or beach locations. Inquire for a park use permit below.
Beach Locations
If you’re looking for the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the ocean, then look no further. Sunset Cliffs, located in Ocean Beach is the #1 spot to end the day in San Diego. Just don’t forget to bring a jacket, it can get pretty windy!
With over 2,000 acres of saltwater bay, there is plenty of opportunity for wakeboarding, jetskiing or sailing. Want to enjoy a picnic after a day on the water? Our most popular spots include Fiesta Island, Crown Point Park, and Ski Beach.
Park Locations
One of the most iconic urban parks with over 17 museums, natural vegetation zones, and walking paths. Enjoy a picnic with us and then spend the rest of the day exploring the grounds!
*This is the only location that permits alcohol.
This grassy slope has a fantastic 180 degree view of the San Diego Bay. Perfect for kite-flying, Frisbee-tossing, or watching the sunset. There are two playground structures for kids & the area is dog-friendly!
Located near historic Old Town, this quiet park is the perfect location if you want away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Visit the Historic Palm Tree Landmark or the Junipero Serra Museum!
